Here at Martin Wealth

After starting my career at a large financial services company, I was thrilled to join Martin Wealth in 2023. Joining a team like we have at Martin Wealth Solutions came easy for me. I’ve been playing soccer and, on a team, as long as I was able to kick a ball and one thing I learned along the way:  The better your teammates, the better player you are.  Our team is made up of all-star players and that’s instantly something I wanted to be part of.

Career Highlights

After graduating from Virginia Tech in 2020 I knew I wanted a career in financial services and joined a large insurance company. Like most things in life, lessons are learned the hard way. I learned fairly quickly that most firms are transactional and not planning focused fiduciaries.  Putting shareholders’ interests ahead of the client.

Joining a planning focused firm like Martin Wealth was a breath of fresh air and I realized quickly this was the perfect fit for me.  Being a fee-based fiduciary advisor was what I went to school for.

Personal Points of Interest

• Virginia born and raised: I was born in Colonial Heights, VA and fell in love with South West Virginia during college.  It’s the best kept secret in America.
• 101 Dalmatians: Okay, so I only have 2 but they are the best dogs.
• Soccer: I’ve been playing my entire life and still play to this day.
• Family: It’s just me and my wife, Grace, for now.
